Thieves targeted a Thane jewelry shop near the railway station, making off with 6.5kg of gold worth ₹7 crore. Exploiting the shop’s lack of security measures, the robbers gained access through a staircase door and stole the displayed ornaments sometime between 1:30 am and 4:00 am on Tuesday.
