Aadhav Arjuna, deputy general secretary of Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK), resigned from the party following a suspension over controversial remarks targeting ally DMK. Arjuna, who joined VCK in 2023, cited a growing rift with party president Thol Thirumavalavan. Despite the resignation, Arjuna expressed his desire to continue working with Thirumavalavan on shared political goals.
