Education dept & NGOs to conduct sessions on student safety in Thane schools

Following a sexual assault incident at a Badlapur school, Thane education authorities and NGOs will conduct student safety sessions in Thane schools. They will also monitor schools’ compliance with safety guidelines, including CCTV installation, staff verification, police visits, and student awareness programs on appropriate touch. These measures aim to enhance student safety and are being implemented following a government resolution.
