Govt panel wants 60% of Ekm dist to be given ‘urban area’ tag

Chennai Corporation councillors conducted area sabhas where residents raised concerns about water supply, road networks, parks, schools, road safety, and lighting. Over a thousand people participated in these sabhas held in localities like Kodambakkam, Tiruvottiyur, Velachery, and Thiruvanmiyur. More sabhas are scheduled for the next week.
