Chennai Metrowater launches helpline for sewage issues during Cyclone Fengal

Chennai Metrowater has launched a helpline for sewage issues during Cyclone Fengal. A monitoring and control centre is operating round-the-clock to handle complaints. They have deployed 642 sewage-clearing machines and mobilized 2,149 field workers. Residents can report issues via phone or social media. The measures cover all 15 zones of the Greater Chennai Corporation.
