South Korea blanketed in heavy snow; four dead, travel in chaos as winter fury strikes

Heavy snowfall in South Korea is causing severe travel disruptions, resulting in at least four deaths and numerous flight and ferry cancellations. The snowstorm, one of the worst in recent history, dumped over 40 cm of snow in Seoul, leading to a massive 53-vehicle pile-up and collapsed structures. While the snow has eased, the impact continues to be widely felt.
