Wild elephant tramples 2 villagers to death in retaliation for ‘mysterious’ deaths of herd in Bandhavgarh

Two villagers were killed by a wild elephant near Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh. Meanwhile, a suspected toxin from kodo grain caused the deaths of ten elephants in the reserve. A team of doctors and scientists are investigating. The forest department has ordered the destruction of kodo crops in affected areas and is monitoring the situation closely.
