Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called for enhanced long-range defence capabilities after Ukrainian air defence forces destroyed over 50 Shahed drones launched by Russia. Zelenskyy posted on X, stressing the need for unity among global partners and further military support to stop these daily aerial strikes. Russia’s latest wave of attacks injured 14 civilians in Zaporizhzhia, with similar strikes targeting regions like Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Sumy. Zelenskyy will raise the issue at the upcoming Ramstein meeting with Ukraine’s international allies.
