In Koderma, Jharkhand, four individuals were sentenced to life imprisonment and fined Rs 50,000 each for the 2018 murder of district Congress president Shankar Yadav and his bodyguard. The assailants attacked with bombs while Yadav was returning from his mines, critically injuring his driver.
