The TDP-led NDA government has begun the process of appointing new trustees for the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams and other temple boards in Andhra Pradesh. State endowments minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy confirms that applications are being sought and assures that the nominations will be handled with caution. An ordinance to fulfill community representation promises is also underway.
