Vidushi Sunanda Sharma of the Banaras Gharana recently performed ‘Boondan Phuhaar’ at Stein Auditorium in New Delhi. Organised by Girija Darshan Trust, the concert celebrated monsoon through Indian classical music. Attendees included Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Kusum Awasthi, who commended Sharma’s dedication to preserving Banaras’s musical heritage.
