Supreme Court’s stern warning to Rajasthan over taking away land of open-air jail in Sanganer

The Supreme Court rebuked the Rajasthan government for constructing a hospital on land held by Sanganer open-air jail. The court cautioned that if construction continues, the chief secretary could face imprisonment. This development follows a contempt petition revealing that the land has been under jail possession since 1963.
