Anamika Singh, a third-year student at Visva-Bharati’s Silpa-Sadana, allegedly took her own life in her hostel room. The 24-year-old from Varanasi was found critically injured and later pronounced dead at Bolpur Subdivisional Hospital. A postmortem and police investigation are underway to confirm the cause of death.
