Meat on train: 3 held for assaulting man on train in Nashik for carrying ‘beef’ were police aspirants

The Government Railway Police in Nashik arrested three men from Dhule for allegedly attacking a 72-year-old man onboard a Mumbai-bound train. The men had attended a police recruitment program in Mumbai and reportedly assaulted the elderly passenger following a seating dispute and allegations that the elderly man was carrying raw meat, suspected to be beef.
