British Colombia to lift fire ban for coast and southeast soon

Officials announced the lifting of campfire bans in British Columbia’s coast and southeast regions due to prolonged wet and cool weather. Category 1 fires will be allowed, while larger fires and items like fireworks remain banned. The ban was lifted for the Coastal and Southeast Fire Centres, following similar actions in Cariboo and Prince George’s regions.
