Punjab boy, 5, is youngest Asian to scale Kilimanjaro

Five-year-old Teghbir Singh from Punjab’s Ropar became the youngest Asian to scale Mount Kilimanjaro, matching a world record set by a Serbian boy. Teghbir, his father, two guides, and support staff took six days to reach Uhuru peak on August 23, overcoming low oxygen levels and altitude sickness along the Machame Route in Tanzania.
