Japan’s Tomiko Itooka set to be named world’s oldest living person

Tomiko Itooka, a 116-year-old from Japan, has been named the world’s oldest living person by Guinness World Records after the passing of Maria Branyas Morera. Born in 1908, Tomiko resides in Ashiya and attributes her longevity to an active lifestyle and positive outlook. She remains mentally sharp and enjoys daily routines like eating bananas and drinking Calpis.
