Knot what it seems: Five marriages, zero commitment, ‘bride’ and gang nabbed after serial wedding scams in Karnataka

A 35-year-old woman who married an agriculturist’s son and disappeared three days later, along with her accomplices and a broker, has been arrested for scamming the groom’s family out of Rs 2.5 lakh. Police in Tumakuru district have discovered four similar marriage frauds by the gang over the past three years.
