A special Pocso court in Aizawl sentenced a man to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment for raping his 13-year-old daughter in 2020. The court also imposed fines totaling Rs 100,000 under IPC Section 376(3) and Pocso Act Section 6. Both sentences will run concurrently. Prosecutors presented seven witnesses, while the accused offered no defense.
