‘They came as beggars and scrap collectors’: Bagariya gang ‘breaks’ into houses in Delhi-NCR; arrested

Last week, Gurgaon police arrested four members of the Bagariya gang, known for burglaries in Delhi-NCR and other states. The gang disguised themselves as beggars and scrap dealers to scout potential targets before breaking into homes. They established temporary camps and used screwdrivers and iron rods to gain entry. After each theft, they moved to different locations to evade capture. Four gang members and a jeweller who bought stolen items were apprehended. They admitted to thefts in Gurgaon and Delhi and are wanted in multiple cases. The gang had previous incarcerations.
