Referencing successful community-based programs in Nepal, they proposed starting with Pilibhit Tiger Reserve. Nepal’s approach includes military protection, financial assistance for attack victims, and crop insurance, resulting in a significant increase in tiger numbers and minimal human-wildlife conflict.
