Maharashtra assembly polls: Congress, UBT Sena divided over need for CM face

A dispute emerged in the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) regarding the chief ministerial candidate for the upcoming assembly elections. Congress’ Prithviraj Chavan emphasized the tradition of the winning party selecting the CM, while Shiv Sena’s Sanjay Raut argued the need for a visible candidate. Raut suggested Uddhav Thackeray’s eligibility, but Congress and NCP prefer deciding post-election based on results.
