Student protesters back Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus as interim govt’s chief adviser

Bangladesh student protest coordinators announced Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus as the chief adviser of an interim government, formed post Sheikh Hasina’s resignation. Nahid Islam, from the Anti-Discrimination Students’ Movement, stated a caretaker government framework would be established. Yunus, a Nobel laureate, recently involved in legal issues, was highlighted as their leader.
