10 out of 36 states, Union territories skip Niti Aayog meet

In the Niti Aayog’s 9th governing council meeting chaired by PM Modi, ten states and Union Territories were absent. The meeting emphasised the concept of ‘Viksit Bharat’ by 2047, focusing on federal-state collaboration, attracting FDI, ease of doing business, and governance. Notable absentees included Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, and Delhi among others.
