National Award-winning director Madhur Bhandarkar recently visited Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak Temple to seek blessings from Lord Ganesha. He shared his experience on X, posting photos of the idol and himself smiling in a lavender T-shirt, captioned, “Today Siddhivinayak temple Darshan. Ganpati Bappa Moriya.” Bhandarkar, known for films like Fashion and Page 3, began his career in 1999. Despite a setback with his debut film Trishakti, he gained recognition with Chandni Bar, which was acclaimed for its success across both multiplexes and single screens—a significant achievement at the time. The film was nominated alongside blockbusters like Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and Dil Chahta Hai, making a notable impact on the industry.
