INS Brahmaputra suffers damage after major fire, one sailor missing

A fire broke out on the Indian Naval Ship Brahmaputra on Monday evening, causing the vessel to lean heavily to its port side. The Indian Navy stated that one junior sailor is currently missing, and a search operation is ongoing to locate the individual.The incident took place while the INS Brahmaputra, described as a “multi-role Frigate,” was undergoing refit at ND (Mbi), according to a statement released by the Indian Navy.
