The Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) has released provisional findings from its investigation into the fatal collision between the Kanchanjunga Express and a goods train last month, highlighting significant lapses in signalling and operating procedures. The findings, which were shared on Tuesday, reveal that both the loco pilot and the assistant loco pilot of the goods train had taken rest for over 30 hours before the accident occurred.
