1,359 MW Solar power generation projects completed, Over 2 lakh farmers now get day time power supply, says Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis

Maharashtra has completed solar power projects generating 1,359 MW, benefiting 2.14 lakh farmers with daytime electricity. The Mukhyamantri Saur Krishi Vahini Yojana 2.0 aims for 16,000 MW capacity by 2026, making it the world’s largest decentralized solar project. This initiative reduces subsidies, creates jobs, and has been recognized nationally, streamlining implementation through a single window portal.
