‘Isolated incidents should not impact lakhs of deserving students who cleared exam rightfully’ says Pradhan amid calls for NEET UG cancellation

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan addressed concerns regarding the NEET-UG medical entrance exam amidst controversy over alleged misconduct. He criticized the UGC-NET exam paper leak as an ‘institutional failure’ of the National Testing Agency (NTA) and announced the formation of a high-level panel to investigate. Pradhan emphasized that isolated cases of malpractice should not affect the thousands of students who passed legitimately. He warned of strict action against those responsible, including top NTA officials, and urged opposition parties not to politicize the issue.
