Bahadur Singh Sagoo, a former Asian Games gold medallist and Olympian, has been appointed as the president of the Athletics Federation of India, succeeding Adille Sumariwalla. Sagoo’s appointment was confirmed during the federation’s Annual General Meeting, where other executive positions were also filled without contest.
